I was chatting to a female Korean friend today - who told me she had a serious problem...
She has been dating a Canadian male teacher for a couple of months now...
The Canadian male teacher asked her to sleep with him on the weekend (sex) and when she said - "No, I don't think I am ready yet - I would prefer to wait until we have been together longer)....
The Canadian male teacher became furious and angry and dumped her and then demanded $$$$$$$ from her - for all the free English lessons he had given her (through talking English to her whilst dating).
The Korean friend was worried - because she cannot pay him any money and was genuinely dating him..
I think this Canadian teacher is a total *%@&!*@%&!& and needs to wake up to himself..
I won't post his name - but if you know him - he really should go back to Canada

First of all, this is just her part of the story and there could be much more to it than that.
Second, people stay stupid things when they fight with boyfriends and girlfriends. Example, one time when fighting, my girlfriend told me I should just go back to Canada. Obviously, she didn't mean it. |

Exactly! This woman should not worry...sounds more like the comments from a sexually frustrated guy who put in 2 months worth of what he considers "work" only to not be paid with sex.
Sounds to me that this guy basically considers himself a *beep*, only that instead of the traditional *beep* who gives up sex for money, he is willing to give up free English lessons for sex. (how desperate is that)
But the traditional *beep* is smarter, because the money she receives for whoring herself out will buy much more than the man whoring his English out for sex. A story to tell your friends doesn't buy you many tangible assets.
Woman gives up sex - Gives up something free to her, and receives something very liquid (money)
Foreigner gives up something very valuable - (English Lesson) and may or may not comes away with sex (something that while good to him doesn't buy much except in his own ego)

this is just another example of countless similar incidents that have been happening for thousands.. no millions of years now between males and females
dude just wants a quick fix for his physical needs.. girl wants to find a guy to procreate with and to successfully protect her offspring for the rest of his life so her genes will continue to be passed on for generations to come |

| Can't say I ever had to wait too long with a Korean chick I dated. On the other hand, some wanted to be friends only and avoided date talk. They wanted to practice their English. When you come across one of those who only want English, you can tell the warning signs, you can get rid of them (move on) or get something else from them in return. One wanted to practice English and meet, so I make her pay and I get a free lunch. Another wanted to practice English with me and I used the opportunity to practice Korean with her. I sort of turned the tables on that one. Fact is K chicks don't fall all over you because you are white. Many will agree to meet simply to practice English only. So, just know the warning signs and move on. Only you can decide how far you want to go or if to cut your losses. Maybe a real relationship might develop. Waiting a long time is teenager like, but maybe if you want a relationship or marriage with someone who isn't hoe, the frustration could be worth the wait. Really up to you. Just realize the culture is different and the K chicks have a different way of thinking even if it isn't always obvious. Mostly if they are attracted to you, something will happen soon. If not, then English lessons only. But if you agree to English help, don't pay for lunch. Get some other free things in return or cut your losses. |
