Not doing any gambling nor running a gambling site nor any porn of any sort. They sent a popup saying, "Warning, National Police," in big red English letters, but with thousands of Korean words I couldn't copy in order to translate. When I attempted to copy it, it disappeared and went to this website. http://www.grb.or.kr/

Anyone know what or why this is? This occurred while I was using imageshack to upload pictures for relatives to view. Doesn't look like marketing, unless it's a mass popup to all users warning that online gambling is illegal for Koreans since they can only gamble at like only 1 casino.

Might had been warning me about downloading a torrent. Well, does Korea offer season 5 episode 9 of Lost? Didn't think so. I had just started Utorrent 10 minutes before the popup too.

I got the same thing when I was using hidemyass.com to try to access hulu.com.

I actually got this once a couple months ago.
I was on a site..maybe naver or something, and I saw a banner ad for a webgame. Looked interesting. So I clicked on it, and instead of forwarding me to the gamesite, it gave me this national police..blah blah blah thing. I put the name of the game in naver, and there seemed to be some blog/news stories about it, but nothing I could make out. Game seemed legit and it was in several languages.

I go to watch tv online at megavideo and got those warnings...I don't know why.

I keep receiving Amber Alerts on my SK Telecom mobile phone. It's good to see there's a watchdog mentality here for things like this.
