I did it with a teacher I met on an American teaching forum I subsequently got kicked off for being politically incorrect. It was a great activity, but did the other teacher's students (mostly Lebonese who spoke English as a third language at a French school) ever make the students in my best class look pathetic. |

Isn't the whole concept a bit redundant now that everyone has skype, msn etc. running on their computer? Mind you, nothing beats getting a real letter. |

I truly hope not. I think there are many advantages to snail mail, not least of all being able to send and receive small gifts. I'm going to try this site: http://www.studentsoftheworld.info/ as it is a non-profit organisation, and seems trustworthy. Thanks for your help guys. |
