I know that this is a pretty odd request for this site, but i'm looking for a trombone or baritone. I don't care what condition it's in as long as it is in decent playing condition. I'm an old band director in need of a music fix.

I tried the big music building over in Insadong, and these folks were trying to sell instruments that would fetch maybe $75 in the US for more than $1000... yes, i'm saying 1,000,000 W for a beat up, no lacquer POS instrument.

So, that being said, if you know where I might be able to find one for a reasonable price, please send me an email to [email protected] .

Thanks,
Pete

I bought a trumpet on ebay and imported it into the country. I recommend you do the same. If the declared value is less than $400, then customs will not charge tax. The hassle isn't that bad.

Or -- get a chinese horn on Gmarket. Deliver in two days.

Gmarket... what is that?

The only thing that concerns me there is not knowing the quality before i buy.... that is a little worrying. They don't even list the brand.
