Dude, I like what you're selling, but I could go to yongsan and buy most of this for under 500,000. |

Are you sure Microsoft sent you a "brand new unit" because mine RROD last year and I had to send it to Japan and they told me before I shipped it that it would either be repaired OR I would be sent a refurbished unit. So I just wanted to clarify that. |

First point is up for debate ... with the US dollar so high, games are more expensive. I looked at what it would cost for each of those games, even used, at retailer, and I still cut the price in half. I know it's hefty buying it as a package, but like I said, I'm sure I'll start playing again, so I don't really care if it goes.
Second point, however, is a good one Bourque. All I know is when my wife called Microsoft Korea they asked for the serial number and said it was still under warranty, so I had the choice of having it repaired or receiving a "new" unit...whatever that means. A guy picked it up, and 5 days later I had another one.
Anyway, it is what it is. Probably too expensive for most in this economy, so it will remain a nice decorative piece under the tv! |

I also just realized I price checked this with the 60GB version. That, coupled with the fact that I don't know if it's new or refurbished, I'm dropping it down to 430,000 for everything. |

Does this Xbox 360 have a Jasper Motherboard?
You can identify a Jasper by checking for the power output of 12,1A on the back that is slightly visible from the hole on the back of the box. The Falcon Xbox 360s have a power output of 14,2A listed on the label. |

I'm not selling any games individually, sorry.
As far as the 12 1A or 14 2A thing ... I have no idea. I'm looking in the holes and I don't see anything like that.
There's a 12V 0.40A and I also see a 5V 1A and a 12V 16.5A ...
Also, the service date on this XBOX is 2008-11-22. |

The falcons weren't supposed to RRoD, either, but look what happened. |

If you are living in Korea, the won is the same. It doesn't matter what is happening to the dollar. This is just a lame attempt to raise the price of something. |

My XBOX doesn't say either of those ... it says:
12V :::: 16,5A; 5V :::: 1A
Whatever all that means!
Having had the RROD here in Korea, all I know is it's much better than getting it in the States. My little brother has had it, and it took almost a month to get his XBOX back, even while under warranty. Here in Korea in only took 4 days.
About the won vs. the dollar -- I'm not going to start a discussion about the basics of economics. |

How about the basics of living in Korea? Example, you go to a store in Korea and buy product A which is 100,000 won. Then the exchange rate takes a nosedive, someone comes to Korea and wants to buy what you have, but you ask for 150,000 because of this, how does this all pan out?
Unless prices also go up in Korea, in terms of won, you have 50,000 more won. The exchange rate would only make a difference if you actually exchanged the money. If you used it for living in Korea, then you have made an extra 50,000 off a fellow expat.
I am just stating my opinion on this. I personally wouldn't sell something higher because of the exchange rate. If anything, I would auction something off and that way buyers can decide how high they want to go. I just don't think it's cool to raise a price because of exchange rates. |

Oye ... okay, I'll lower myself and say something. I've heard there were people on here who have the time to make off-hand comments on a FS forum. Wish I had that kind of time!
If you look at prices on play-asia.com or in Yongsan, the prices of new video games have gone up very much because of the exchange rate to US and Japan.
I used to buy games on play-asia.com and in Yongsan for 40,000 won, and now they are 70,000 - 90,000 won new. They've even gone up at E-Mart. That's how economics work when the retailers you're buying games from have to buy the same games from Japan or the US. |

redesigned motherboard
new 65-nanometer graphic chip
256MB of internal memory
new 150-watt power supply
Jasper is what Microsoft should've done in the first place. However, hindsight is 20/20. |
