I've just seen a really great documentary about the public's struggle against private water companies for the control of drinking water. It's called FLOW - For Love of Water.

Drinking water still is today, a public resource that we enjoy for almost no cost (save for a little tax money). That may change as private water companies try to get water filtration plants under their control as they have been trying to do in the 3rd world.

Sadly, much of the public has come to believe the message that the bottled water companies have been spending tens of millions of dollars on which is that tap water is not as safe as bottled water.

Completely untrue, at least in the U.S. & Canada. The documentary unleashes two facts upon the viewer;

1) There is only 1 inspector in the Drug & Food Administration in the U.S. in charge of inspecting all of the bottled water in that country. Therefore, no one really knows if there are any contaminants in their bottled water.

2) You are not safeguarding yourself by buying bottled water if there are contaminants in your local tap water because contaminants can enter your body via your skin when you take a shower or bath.

Watch this documentary. Buy it online, download it with a torrent, or watch it on YouTube. Just see it.
