The weather is getting nice and kidz just wanna get out and enjoy the nice weather out on the field.

Any of you teaching ball game/sports English and then taking students outside to the front field for a game?

Um, no - I believe that's the PE teacher's job.

At my first job the other FTs regularly played ball games in the classroom.

during one of my english summer camps, i ended up doing a sports day competition (dodgeball, three-legged races, egg-spoon races, etc.). my middle school kids liked it, it gave them a chance to actually do something outdoors for a change and it was a good end of camp activity.

Wario took a pair of kid-size lacrosse sticks with him and makes up toss around games in his classes for them. I've seen some pictures, they sometimes end up playing out in the hallway.

I teach our "football squad" every Wednesday for a class. I make sure we do a warm up each game and try and do some drills but they're pretty young so it's quickly into a game. As long as I keep shouting English at them they pick up the different terms quick enough.

And I usually get a few laughs out of the game, e.g. kids falling on their faces etc etc.

But we haven't got a field, it's dirt/gravel.

My co-teacher is also P.E. teacher so I'll be joining him for some dodgeball etc with the kids sometime.

Schools and hagwons don't seem to like it when teachers organize extra stuff it seems. I did in Japan, but no luck yet in conservative Korea land.
