And for that matter, how about the cheapest and fastest ways to get to Beijing and Shanghai?

Also, what do people know about visiting Vladivostok and Ulan Batur?

The fastest way is always going to be flying.

Cheapest varies a bit by destination though I think.

Shanghai - Fly with China Eastern, Shanghai is their hub.

Beijing - fly , or take boat from Incheon to Tianjin and then get the train to Beijing.

Ulan Bator- No idea...... fly, or fly to Beijing and then train (you'd need two visas though)

Vladivostok - fly, or get the boat from Sokcho to somewhere near Vladivostok (can't remember the name) and then bus from there.

happy travels
