What is a visa number like? I was told on the phone but I am not sure about the second to last digit,
NY-#-######
But she pronounced the second to last as "O" so is there any letter at the end of the visa number, or just numbers in that format? |

This is why you should always differentiate 0 from O by using/asking/repeating 'zero' and putting a slash through it (as an engineer would), and asking "O as in Oscar?" when you're writing stuff down. Put a slash across "Z" too, so you know it's not a 2. |

I'm not sure why it matters. Write down O or 0. The person giving you the visa will understand.
Just like when writing down a telephone number, I don't need to ask "O" or zero. |

Have them email it, not just say it over the phone. |
