| I read that you can set up an automatic overseas remittance when the exchange rate hits a certain point. I just got my KEB account and online banking set up. How do I make an automatic remittance? Please help! |

I've read this... it's not helpful. When I log on, I only see one option to do an immediate remittance. I don't see an option to set up an automatic one that is not immediate. |

| The remittance account is a separate bank account that you transfer money into - you need to set this up at your branch before it's available to you online/at ATMs. Go in with your home bank information including the address, plus all your other information and ask for a foreign remittance account. |

I already have a foreign remittance account. I see the option to make an IMMEDIATE overseas remittance, but I don't see any option to set up an AUTOMATIC one at my preferred exchange rate............ |

| Oh, apologies, I misunderstood. The paperwork that I got about my KEB account doesn't mention that at all - call the expat help line though, everyone that I've ever spoken to there has been fluent in english and very helpful. Good luck, keep us posted if you get it figured out. |

| Sorry to sidetrack this thread, is there a branch near Myeondong that has English service? I'd like to set up an account here in the near future if possible. Thanks. |

Every KEB I've been to has someone who can speak enough English to help you open an account - there's not really much speaking involved anyway, you just need to sign a few sheets of paper.
Take the subway to one of the expat branches if you're really worried about it. |

| With the foreign remittance account you don't need to "make" a remittance...every time you transfer a set amount of money into it (probably 100,000 won,) the entire amount will be immediately remitted (or next business day.) |
