Is it open? I haven't been by there in a few weeks. Have they opened it yet?

Thanks,

Kyle

Never heard of it, but here you go (looks to be a coffee, desert cafe)

Go out exit #6, it's along the main road but back one street. It's right across the street from another Starbucks. I've never gone inside, but you can see everybody inside from the street.

Justagirl: It's basically a coffee shop but it's geared towards couples, thus the name, 'A Twosome Place'. I've heard they have good food and coffee and wanted to check it out but the one in Shinchon is too far away.

I went there yesterday.

1) PACKED. I went at like 1pm and it was packed, people were standing around waiting for others to leave.
2) FOOD is overpriced. 5000 won for a sandwich with hardly any chicken and mostly bread and lettuce...um not a good place to eat.
3) DESSERTS are pretty good. They have a good selection.

Seems most people were just in there for drinking coffee and yup the twosome thing means most if not all tables were set up for 2 people to be there.

I'll pass on the place in the future. If I want to pay 5k for a sandwich that is subpar and 4k for a cup of coffee, I'll just goto a cafe that has nice comfy couches.

This place sounds retarded. Why would you go to a cafe full of smooching, fawning couples? Aren't most cafes geared up for couples/threesomes/foursomes etc? How ridiculous. Just go to a normal cafe and sit at a table for two.

Yeah I don't get it either. Why would you travel to Kangnam just to have overpriced coffee as a couple?

It seems Kangnam now has a coffee shop every 50 meters. Unfortunately, most of them are not open early in the morning. I wish I could walk through Starbucks on my way to Korean class at 7 am.

I could never understand Korean coffee shops. 4-5,000 won for a cup of watery coffee and no refills. No wonder Starbucks does so well. (In cqase you didn't know, if you buy a regular coffee at Starbucks you can get free refills. Just ask.)

went there last night and I'm giving the place a thumbs down.

It was super busy and crowded and you have to serve yourself (order stuff at the counter and carry a tray to your table, then return the tray when you're done.....none too classy). Everything looks nice but the quality didn't seem to be there in the food we had. Gave me the impression of being somewhat pretentious. Coffee was only luke warm (and only a half cup at that), the cheese cake was tastless, some chocolates were alright though.

THeir sandwiches look good. I might be tempted to return and get a sandwich to go sometime.
