So I'm in the market for a big ass HD tv....and I notice plenty of TV's online and in stores say you'll get some whopping 40-70%+ discounts if you use the correct point card to buy certain TV(LG point card for LG TV).
I've seen similar deals back home and done them, but they're usually for 25% off at best....70% sounds like there is a catch...I plan to get an LG point card and then pay the whole thing upfront within a month.
Anyone who can comment on what it takes to get the card and what it entails?
BTW, any good sites for buying TV's online? |

You probably don't get 40-70% off the actual cost price.....but will get something of that value off future LG products bought......
...............................no one gets 40-70% off the sticker price of large-screen TV's. My wife is the queen of point cards and she's never got a discount that big.......................... |

I believe to qualify for that discount you have to by X million won worth of goods using that card over the next year. |
