who's saying UNC can't do it next year? We have the Wear twins coming in and John Henson. Ed Davis will stick around and who knows, maybe Ty and Wayne will want another shot. I'm pretty sure we'd be the odds on favorite to win again next year if that happened.
And I'd much rather have 100 years of continued success than 2 years (I'll give you 3 with the FF run in 2000). |

I was going to mention that Florida won BACK-TO-BACK as well.

fine, we'll talk team of the decade. how's this:
UNC: 4 Final Fours, 2 NC, 229-80 record (.741 winning percentage), 5 NBA lottery picks, 9 NBA draft picks
I couldn't find the records for Florida but here's what they have: 3 Final Fours, 2 NC, 4 NBA Lottery picks, 11 NBA draft picks
Let's go ahead and add this years if we want to truly determine team of the decade -
NBAdraft.net has Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington going 11 and 12, respectively, Hansbrough going 25th and Danny Green going 41st
They don't have Nick Calathes going in the draft, but let's assume he does get taken
If you want to look up the records for Florida please do, but the numbers don't lie |
