Hello all,
I am fairly familiar with the hoops I will have to jump through to get this done. I know that I need to get finger prints done here in Korea, send them to a local agency, have the CRC returned, then send it to the State to get apostiled.
The problem is that Ive just downloaded the form and it clearly states "This application is not to be used to obtain a copy of your record to furnish to another person or agency for immigration, visa, employment, licensing or certification purposes(refer to Penal Code 11125...which states doing so is a misdemeanor).
This is the only form I can find outline in which to request a CRC. Does anyone from Cali know of another way to go about doing this? I did a CRC last year but it was when they were still allowing Americans to use an online CRC that was then taken to the US Embassy.
Im sure there is a way to do this legal and that is the advice I am looking for. Thanks in advance. |
