Last time I was in hongdae I saw a street that had like 8 or 9 custom furniture making stores on it, with workshops. It was closer to sinchon station, if you were walking from there towards the main area of hongdae. I would imagine in various places in seoul you can find some custom furniture stores with shops. If you find one, they'll probably sell it to you. Maybe take a walk around the dirtier parts of your neighbourhood and see if there is a more industrial area, if there is you might find some custom workshops there. |

There is a small lumber yard near where I live in Songpa near the Garak Market subway and bus station. Don't know if this is near you. |

I'd be interested to find some Marine Plywood for the coracle I'm fixing to make. |

Notice how very little is made with wood in this country. NOT AN ACCIDENT! it's expensive dude. plywood? forget it. maybe you could get a semi-expensive piece of compound board. |

I will check the prices at the mini-lumber yard and get back to you on that. |
