Hi I live in Chang-dong on line 1 or 4 in the Northern part of seoul
I have to pick up a friend there tomorrow at the incheon airport at 3pm. I have only been in seoul for 5 weeks so I am not sure exactly how this works.
I looked at the subway map just now and it looks fairly straight forward how to get to Gimpo international airport using line 5. After that I see an 'A' line on the map which goes to Incheon airport. Can I use my T money card on that? My friend will have luggage with him. Are taxis expensive if I want to get one to Changdong? Is the fare on the meter the only one I have to pay or are there other charges too? |

I don't know about any of that except yes, you can use your T-money card on the train to Incheon from Gimpo. Just did it a couple weeks ago, the other way. |

Why not take an airport bus from your area to Incheon Airport...it is probably the fastest and most convenient option. Do you live near Jangam sageori? If so, there is a direct airport limousine bus (#6013).

Or call the free travel hotline 1330 and they can help you find the right bus.
I think the bus costs like 7 or 8,000won one way. A bargain for a 1+ hour ride
A taxi from Incheon Airport to Changdong will cost you 70,000won plus. |
