Anyone get lower after school/special class pay this month (for classes taught in March)?

My Feb classes were low but my pay was lower than what it should have been. Not a big amount though so I just thought it was a tax adjustment.

I just got paid for my March classes any the amount deposited is way down! About 28% deducted! I really hope they aren't trying to pay me less and expect to get away with it!

Has this happened to any other PS teachers out there?

I will be asking my co-teacher and the teacher in charge of special classes tomorrow afternoon.

Definitely call them on it. 28% IS a lot.
You have the power though. If they can't or wont explain it to your satisfaction, then just be unavailable for overtime next month.

You might find that it is to do with tax. I was paid MORE than I was expecting for March. Wisely/or stupidly I asked the lady why.

She said it was because in the previous tax year I had been taxed slightly too much so the school paid me back.

From what I understand (she was a bit vauge) this is quite a fluid process. If I was you I would wait until the end of this month when you get paid again. If there is still something wrong raise your questions then.

Got it sorted. Nothing to do with tax. It was as I expected. The gross amount was less, 30 per class instead of 40. It's being fixed.

I was asked if I wanted the money now or wait till next month, because the teacher who cacked it up must resubmit some paperwork. I opted for now, it's only about 110000won but it wasn't my stuff up. My co-teacher sounded all apologetic to the teacher saying "sorry he wants it now".

Co-incidently I was asked to submit a plan for the year (starting this month ending next March) for said classes. I had already submitted the plan from last October to this July. I guess I'm getting renewed in September! Nice!
