I work at a hagwon. I had put my 45 day notice in to quit and my 45th day notice would have ended this coming Sunday (2 days from now). However my boss asked me to work a few extra days for him beyond that and I agreed to help him out....which was apparently a big mistake.
Today he went bezerk and told me I needed to be out of my apartment tonight and that he would cancel my visa monday at immigration. I have bought my plane ticket and it's not until April 18th, so that leaves me in a bind with my visa. I am thinking I need to go to Immigration Monday and change my E-2 Visa into an American Tourist Visa. But what if he cancels my visa before I go and change it? I've done a lot of looking online at the the Korean Immigration Website and it seems as though because I won't be changing my visa type 3 days prior to it's expiration I could get in trouble? (I'm counting the 3 days from my last {45th} day). OR should I be ok because my visa technically doesn't expire until September? (I'm leaving at the 7 month mark).
I'm flustered and completely freaking out right now. I would write more details into what happened but I've heard with great certainty that people have gotten in trouble with the law when writing negative things online about their jobs....I do promise to post details though when I'm back in America.

ALSO does anyone know if the Incheon Immigration office is open on Saturday/Sunday?? I've called and tried to get someone to speak English and it's been to no avail...and the hours aren't listed on the website.
