I'm applying for a public school at the moment and have got to the infamous 300 word essay! At the moment I have no teaching experience and am having difficulty as to what to write about my philosophies on teaching and education. Any suggestions from your own experiences on what people like to read in these essays?
EDIT
Damn - just noticed this is in the wrong part of the forum! Sorry, I expect it'll be moved by someone to the right place, sorry!

Just write why you want to teach. Or for that matter write why you want to come to Korea.
They are just making sure you dont write as bad as an ESL student. |

| It doesn't just have to be about teaching - to be honest, I don't think they actually read them. I wrote about what I studied in university, why I wanted to move to Korea, and why I thought I'd make a good teacher (outgoing, etc etc). Redundancy isn't a bad thing in this case. |

| It really shouldn't be too difficult to complete this essay. |
