Hey I have a question. Korea is the country to get sugery in. But do they have the sugery to add hair back to your head? Sorry I forgot the name at the moment. If they do have it any idea where the locations are?

It's called a hair transplant. I'm looking for responses too, as my hair is getting awfully thin. I'm getting the "talmo" comments and that I am too stressed, which I'm not, so I think maybe I should go under the knife. In the past I used to pick up so many more women when I had nice shag on top. Now I get told that I look 10 years older than I am. Life is cruel.

My implanted hair is very sweet and sugery when I add syrup to it.

I remember seeing Minoxidil in the pharmacy.

I'm always amazed at those willing to undergo surgery for baldness. There's nothing wrong with being bald.

I suppose if your head is pointy or lumpy or something, it might be a good idea.

keep in mind that hair transplantation surgery isn't like removing an appendix - a basic medical procedure almost every surgeon can successfully accomplish.

Hair transplantation has a large element of "artistry" to it - after all, the key is to make the transplants look as "natural" as possible, right? Some people are better artists than others.. some have more experience than others.. etc. This takes time and specialization.

A lot of progress has been made since the old "doll" transplant looks, though no matter how good it'll never be the same and a trained eye will always tell. To some (many), still beats shiny baldness though. The decision is yours.

Prices vary - I have no idea how much they are in Korea. But.. and I can't stress this enough - find a surgeon you're comfortable with that can show you a LOT of before and after photos. (like any respectable place in the US will do).

btw re that list.

talk about BAD starts.

Willis looks a million times worse and a LOT older ever since he lost his hair (and lost demi). Even when he still had a little left, like for first Die Hards... he looked a 1000X better. Of course, age is a factor too - he's at that age where a guy ages 5 to 10 years in the course of 1 or two.

the second guy Rosenbaum is a walking poster child of why pale and skinny guys shouldn't go bald. He looks like a skinhead.

btw OP

you're NOT "adding hair back to your head".

you're adding it back to the FRONT or TOP of your head. This hair has to come from somewhere.. it comes from the hair in your back, where the follicles aren't genetically vulnerable to male pattern baldness. - hence the name "transplant", you are transplanting hair, your own hair.

but you only have so many "donor" hairs to give. You're robbing Peter to pay Paul. Unfortunately one cannot use one's hairy back hair to fix up that bald spot, much less someone else's hair. Smile

Bald is beautiful. Just let it go, as surgery sounds potentially dangerous.

I love how some people write the idea of a hair transplant off so quickly. Believe it or not, some people are affected by things quite differently, especially their hair. To those that are not affected by hair loss, your judgements are moot.
