There used to be a pretty big store in Dongdaemum in one of the department stores but because the building renovation works it's not there for the moment.

They used to have all sorts of useful stuff in (many of the Japanese 100 yen kind of things) but I don't know of any other decent sized places that are similar.

Daiso is everywhere.

there's a really nice Daiso outside Dongmyo Station (blue and brown lines) exit 9

There's one at Wangsimni station in between the green and purple lines. I believe.

I saw a Daiso while I was on the bus between Gangnam Station and The Hannam Bridge. Somewhere around Sinsa. It was on the LHS while I was heading north. Can't remember the exact location sorry.

Not near Gangnam but there's another at Ewha University Station. It's connected to the station.

Walking from the Gangnam Kyobo bookstore to Nonhyun Station, there's a 1000 won store, noticed it yesterday.
