Yes, but on the E-2 cards only.

They transmit your location at all times.

I'm guessing you can nuke the chip in the microwave. Just be careful to not melt your card.

Just put some alfoil around the card. It stops the transmissions.

I doubt it, the microwave won't even kill real, LIVE bugs. You should have seem the gomer crawling out of my dog's food this morning.
