Ok, I'd like to expand my culinary knowledge. Here's my typical diet:
Korea food 4 times a week:
sundubu/dolsotbebimbap/yukkaejung/chambong (chinese soup)/kim bap/kimcheechigae/twaenchangchigae/tangsuyuk/kalguksu/
The other days I eat fried chicken near my house:
My oh my and Nyaet Nal (which means old chicken in Korea).
I never eat at Western restaurants. I don't have the desire. The occassional McD's or pizza but that's about it.
I'd like to expand my Korean menu. What do you like and what s it? I don't care to hear about Western food....just Korean food and that great fried chicken.
Oh, by the way, my strength has gone through the roof on this diet. (weight training) |

try 꽃밥. You'll probably never have something like it again. |

Anything ending in guk sounds like the trick for you. Also get a hold of some samgyetang. Go to a mountain restaurant with a load of banchan and you'll eventually see what you like. |

뼈해장국 (byeo haejangguk) is probably my favorite food in Korea.
It's spicy soup made with pieces of stewed pork spine, some vegetables and maybe potato or noodles in it. |

Try 닭도리탕 it's a spicy chicken soup with potatoes and carrots. It's good but it's not really set up for one person to eat so take a friend. |

I second this. So good.
BTW, Western food doesn't only consist of McDonald's and pizza. It can be healthy you know? You're so cool for only eating Korean food. |

Yeah? How's your weight been doing with all the fried chicken? |

Since coming to Korea, I have developed a taste for pork. I used to only eat chicken in the states, so chicken dishes are like pizza and McDonald's food to me. |
