Hey all,

I'm throwing a party this weekend... not too many people- maybe twenty or so. I was thinking of starting at Carne Station, but now I'm hearing mixed things.

Basically I liked that it is all you can eat and, more importantly, all you can drink. I need a place where my friends will have a good time and twenty of us can be comfortably seated. But now I hear that it closes at 10... I mean we were only going to spend two hours there anyway (that's the deal, right? all you can eat/drink for two hours for a certain price??), but starting at 8 on a Saturday is a little early for me.

I've also heard mixed things about the food.

Anyone have any suggestions?? Are there any other places like Carne Station?? What about those Brazilian places... all you can eat steak, or something??

I'm mainly just looking for a place to start out... kind of an all you can eat/drink place. After that, I have some places in mind for the rest of the night. Thanks for any help.

Doing a private party might be an option. You can either use a large apartment if somebody has a house sized apartment or you could go to a public area like a riverside and have a BBQ with coolers full of ice cold beer. Of course, the rural is much better for outdoor activities like this vs. the Hang river side in Seoul as any city setting is not as good for this. Koreans have been having BBQ parties recently near the river where I live in Gangwondo. I only wish they packed everything out that they brought with them. Emart and Homeplus sells all the necessary provisions needed.

You could also all chip in to rent a noraebang sound proofed singing room which serves beer and food, but it's only Korean beer and maybe whiskey. I went to one of those recently with a group we hooted it up really loudly. No English music where I went, but some of you wrote posts describing really nice luxury singing sings offering English music. You can even scream into the amplifier and no noise complaints will result. Pretty cool private party option, but kwappy drink.
