A couple of weeks ago I decided to upgrade from my scooter to a motorcycle. The Comet 250 seemed like the most obvious choice based on cost of maintenance and the amount of time I'll own it for. A recent deal fell through and now I'm looking to pick up a Comet for relatively cheap.

I'm leaving in just under six months so I worry about not being able to sell the bike in time. I can't justify spending a lot of money on it since I won't have it for that long; I'd rather not pay too much and end up losing a ton of money on it for such a short ownership period. This is why I'm looking for a relatively cheap one.

Cosmetic damage (such as minor scratches) are expected; as long as there aren't cracks in the frame or engine I'll be happy. High mileage is okay as long as you maintained the bike properly.

I'm located in Ulsan so I'd prefer the bike to be delivered to me (since I don't have any motorcycle riding experience), however, I'd consider making a trip to you or meeting half-way if you wanted.

I don't know if I'll find what I'm looking for as my buying timeframe is short (since there's not much point in buying a bike in a month or two, as I'll only have it for a couple of months afterwards) but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Well, I doubt you'll be able to find someone here who is willing to sell you a Comet 250 quickly enough(as you expressed your time frame) . If you have the money now to buy a bike, your best bet would be to try and buy a bike from some of the websites:
http://www.passo.co.kr/
is a pretty good site.

Thanks Durtee, I might buy off of Passo or Bike Mart if I find the right bike.

Bushell1212, I can't PM you since I don't have enough posts. Send an email to [email protected] (used to avoid spam, I'll email from my real address). 1 million sounds good to me. I'll email you back right away with a few questions and my phone number. Thanks so much!
