hey there everyone

Okay some fun facts for my request. I have looked inot it online for hous, but all these good looking resorts may suck in Person. So please let me know if youve stayed anywhere good on Koh Samui, or have stayed in the Places I mention.

1) Do not want an expensive place to stay, but I dont want a slum either.1500 baht a night is my cap and id rather be MUCH below that if poosible

2) want something within a 5 minute walk of some kind of beach

3) Would like to golf, so not terribly far away from the course

4) Not too crazy into the nightlife, so dont NEED to be near chaweng beach, but would like to be near some kinds of shopping of gooods of all kinds.

5) Im looking at the Panalee Resort, looks like a good value, as does the HUtcha Resorts. I looked at Harrys Bungalows, but they seem quite far from the beach.

Anyway, ANY reccomendations or testimonials would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Sanctuary Spa last year and it was fantastic - if you go for the new mountian view bungalows then they're a lot cheaper. They were being built when we stayed so I don't know what they're like but the pool-side bunglalows were gorgeous.

Location-wise it's a 5 minute walk down to the Fisherman's Village which is perfect for shops, restaurants bars etc and next to a nice beach. I'd go back there in a second:
