I supposed this is the Mark I. How about the shutter count? How old is the unit?

Yes it is the Mark I. I don't know the shutter count. Sorry. I've had this for three months (there was another owner before that used this camera as a backup).
I'm selling it to upgrade to the 5d MkII |

Are you the same person who bought this off of John Pak (Paknoj)? I guess it doesn't matter but I have seen his shots and they are quite good. I can only suspect that if it was his camera he took great care of it. I think 1.6 might be fair if its in excellent condition with less than 10,000 shots on it.

any camera is a professional camera if you make money selling the images... the 5D isn't built as rugged as the 1D series but it is used by pros all over the world... so unless you abuse it or always work in harsh environments it'll probably serve you just fine.

With the exchange rate the way it is I would seriously consider selling that on ebay if I were you. It would be a bit of trouble but you could get several hundred thousand more won for it (i.e. worth the trouble).

There's no way to tell on Canons. Only the 1D series will record shutter count in the Exif.
