Tons of Beef Suspected of Mad Cow Disease Sold
By Kim Rahn
Staff Reporter
About 13 tons of American beef were falsely sold as Australian products five years ago in defiance of a disposal order issued after a case of mad cow disease, or bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), was reported in the United States...... |

Well, the WTO is probably going to force Korea to allow in Canadian beef next. We'll see if they start burning and destroying shit like they did last time... I'm guessing they're not, seeing as this won't involve the US in any way. |

What are going to do if one day your child comes up to you and says, "Daddy, why do you hate me? You hate Koreans and I am part Korean. Do you hate me, daddy?"
Do you think this complete negativity towards Korea is not seen by your child? I could not live with myself if my daughter said that to me. As the parent of a bi-racial child, we have to be extra careful of what we say and how we feel. The little ones do pick up on these things. You may not be Korean, but your family is....think about that before spreading more vile and hatred. |

It would have been nice if the protesters had bothered to look into reality before they allowed themselves to whipped into a frothing mass of nationalistic/xenophobic absurdity.
Capiche? |

Why don't you walk a mile in his shoes. I know plenty of expats that have biracial children ranging from 1 to 13 years old. They have no problem accepting the fact that they are not going to die if they sleep with the fan on at night. They know that Korea isn't the only country with 4 seasons. They don't refer to Africa as a country and think that they where tiger skin robes with a bone through their nose. They know that too much kimchi is bad for the stomach. They don't hate Japan. When the play sports the actually try to score a goal instead of frantically looking for the designated striker. If their parents get a call from their teacher, it is most likely "the end of the world as they know it". They don't believe in pure blood or that they are 1.3 Korean. They wait for people to exit the elevator/subway/bus before they try to get on. They know if someone molests them, there parents will not settle for a couple million won.
They know the West isn't the land of milk and honey. They know they are safer here in Korea than they might be in the States. They know Korea is a beautiful nation with beautiful people. Their mothers and fathers raise them well.
Shall I go on/stop.. or do you not want to draw the obvious conclusion.
Just yesterday I read a pamphlet in English about a certain irrigation system that was destroyed after the Japanese invasion (invitation from the elites) and how it has been successfully restored by Korean race unification and was a project that only could have been done by Korean pure blood.
You go tell him what to tell his kids.
Then go to the Hitler bar and read a comic about how the Jews are so rich and were actually behind the 9/11 attacks.
Hypocrite. |

Bringing up the fact that children can pick up on things from their parent has nothing to do with Hitler Bar and the other garbage you were talking about. Do even understand my post?
The point is, that every post this person makes is insulting to Korea and Koreans; even though his family is Korean. I do not give a damn what brochures you read and how many expats with kids you know.
Hypocrite? In what sense? Can you please explain that to me? |

No. If you are that dense and intend on raising your child without informing him/her/it/?/ of the real world outside of the hermit kingdom, you don't deserve an explanation.
Korea is not a bad place, but it has many faults. Children should be made aware of these as they grow. They should also be taught that they are lucky to live with such a family centered society. Do you think he is teaching his kids verbatim what he is posting on Dave's. Get real.
Koreans are as a society xenophobic with many cultural differences from the west. You saying that he is warping his child's mind while letting Korean society run against his personal beliefs is hypocritical...
I extended the courtesy of a short explanation. Wait till your child grows and let's see when and where you start to tell him/her/it/? the real truth. |

Whatever, dude. You do not seem to be getting the point of my post. You are telling me my intentions on how to raise my child and babbling on about 9-11 and Jews.
You do not want to understand my point, and that is fine. It was not directed at you. |

I call 'em how I see them. If they didn't act like idiots, I wouldn't call them idiots.
Were you even here last summer? If you were, were the people acting civilized?
