I would like to know if anyone has a definitive answer for the following type of situation. If someone quits their job prior to the end of the contract (without providing the school with the stipulated 60 days notice), how does that person go about exiting Korea so as to be able to return within the week?

A. Head to an immigration office on a weekday morning to cancel the visa and request an exit order.

B. Head to the airport with ticket in hand; while passing though immigration hand in ARC and make sure the visa is canceled.

C. Other?

I realize that upon returning to Korea the "runner" will enter on a tourist visa and will need to start the E-2 visa application procedure over from scratch. That's not really the issue at hand. It's the leaving (unethically) and returning within a couple of days.

Thanks in advance.
