Its actually near the apujeong hooters. Its a small place on a second or third floor. You will definitely need someone to take you there the first time.

Pretty much any of the Tuna Japanese style restaurants offer this. The best chain is Dokto( named after the disputed Island. If you can't read Hunguel. All of these places have a huge picture of Dokto island on the outside.

If you just want to eat suchi order chobab. Most orders are buffet style.
The chef just keeps bringing more. If you make a good impression on the chef he will bring you the best blood red cuts.

These places are a bit pricy but well worth the extra. If you stay a long time the Sushi chef will cut the fishes eyeball out take some frozen part out and put it in a kettle then add soju. This drink will be offered to all the guests on the house.

No problem going to these places alone and your almost guaranteed to meet someone wanting to practice English and drink with.

The place you are thinking of is in Gangnam. Go out exit 8 and walk straight for about 300 meters. The restaurant is just before Coldstone and Tous Les Jours in the basement of the same building. There is a TV at street level showing the diners inside. The deal is about 17,000 won for all you can eat for 40 minutes. The sushi is good quality and the staff are nice. Just make sure you don't leave lots of rice on your plates, cos they charge extra if you do (which is fair enough).

Enjoy!

Yeah. Spot on. There was a place back when I was in Bucheon and I got to know the chef really well and he would hook me up every time I went in. I would stay a couple of hours talking to him and getting plastered. Good times.
