Thanks, Janny, this is a topic I also want to post.
Live music could be a lot better than its studio edition, in that live music is more passionate, the musicians body language is a big ornament to the music, also the participation of audience would 10 times amplify the sound effect. Besides these, the light, sound, stage, costume..etc all contribute to the charm of live music.
My favorite of favorite ones is Coldplay's <Lost>

I seriously watched this vid for tens of times, it starts with Chris Martin putting away his guitar and pulling a microphone from the pole.....which would be one of the most classic moments in all live music history. Watching the vid, I got LOST in Chris' blue eyes and his boyish joyful dancing,
He is so blessed with his well-toned voice and music talent, who actually reminds me of Tom Hulce's flawless performance in <Amadeus(1984)>. |
