anyone recommend any? For Thai, I've heard of Thai Orchid but not yet been......any others? Could really do with some decent Pad Thai, Pat Ka Pow etc.

For Vietnamese, there are tons of chain restaurants but taste pretty mediocre (and that's being kind) in my opinion.Could do with some recommendations too!

there's buddha's belly in itaewon (expensive but I would say some of the best Thai you can get in Seoul).

For Vietnamese, I only really eat pho, at first I abhored what koreans do to pho, but found a decent place in hongdae called pho atte. I think it's a chain, but the broth is the best I've come across so far.

The absolute best Thai food in Seoul is Pattaya in Itaewon. It's next to Three Alley Pub in the alley behind the Hamilton Hotel. Line 6 Itaewon Stn. Food is amazing and reasonably priced, restaurant is nice and clean, and the service is friendly. Can't wait to go again myself!

The best Thai in Seoul is Pattaya next to 3 alley pub as previously posted. My wife and I used to go there all the time. The best Vietnamese restaurant we found was in Myeongdong. It's in a side alley and is located in the basement. Haven't been there in a few years so hopefully it's still there.

There is a good Pho place in Jongno. It's off the main road - kind of near the Jongno-gu Office. I can't remember the name exactly, but its on the first floor of a new officetel building.

Does anybody know a Thai place that uses Thai rice instead of Korean rice?
