Hi,

What sized sheets should I bring to Korea?

Lots of advice about moving to Korea says to bring sheets...I've heard to bring queen size and to bring double size. Which sized sheets would be the best to bring?

We have a couples apartment.

Thanks

Hey ramen,

I would ask them what size the bed is - it's really hard for anyone to know to tell you what size to bring. However, if you're dealing with people that aren't giving you any information - better to be safe than sorry - bring the queen size.

btw, they got some good tasty ramen here.

Just out of curiosity, in general, what sized beds do furnished couples apts. have?

If anyone could share their personal experience that would be great! Thanks

OK.. There are small "single" beds, which appear to be about the same size as N. American single beds.. But then there are also single beds which are a little larger..probably between a double and single NA bed.. "Single" sheets will not fit on those.. Then there's "double" beds, but again they are larger than doubles in NA.. I brought double sheets when I first arrived and they were about 2 inches too small for my "double" bed.. So, to be safe, I'd bring "queen" sheets.. I've never seen beds bigger than the Korean "standard" double beds (which only NA queen sheets will fit).. Maybe get some reponses from posters who are coupled about beds larger than "double" here...

Hey Dude,

I always bring queen-sized. Even if they're too big, it's not big deal (har har har) because you can just tuck away the extra.

And yes, it's a GREAT idea to bring sheets. I'd never leave home without them.
