Hi. I am re-posting this because nobody seemed to post under the thread"checks". My question is concerning a criminal record for impared driving in Canada. I am wondering; Will this effect my ability to get an E2 visa and/or enter Korea. I would like to hear from anyone with info or opinions on this, be they positive or negative. I just want to find the truth.
Thanks

I know for a fact you can enter here with a DWI....I dont have an e-2 but I cant imagine it would matter---If you are allowes into Korea and have a degree-why not??? Assuming you didnt hurt anyone DWI is more of a traffic than criminal issue---good luck...

No, there is no check. You can work in Korea with a criminal record. Don't go to Taiwan though.....
