Did anyone else go to the Seoul Auto Show? In comparision, the L.A. Auto Show is about 4-5 times bigger, but the crowd size is seemed almost the same. Therefore everyone was packed in. To make matters worse, there was a horde of children which sucked because you had to wait in line behind a bunch of then to sit inside many of the cars.

All the Audi, MB, and BMW cars were locked so all you could do was look through the windows. However, the thing I disliked the most was that none of the cars had any window stickers so you could not tell what options they had or how much they even cost.

Speaking of prices, the only time I saw any was with MB. They had an ad up for their lease program at the show. The C63 was priced at a ridiculously cheap level (about 780,000 a month for a lease). I didn't get all the details, but that seems jaw-droppingly cheap for that car. I test drove that car last year when I was shopping around for mine and that car a beast. 451 HP and 0-60 in the low 4s. I can't imagine the point of driving such a car around congested Seoul though.

I think this year's "models" were quite nice.

My first choice for a new ride would be:

My second choice for a new ride would be:

I had to send those pics off to a blog. Those booth professionals needed to be seen by more people. Check the hat tip in the blog post.

Nah, the Seoul Motor Show sucks. I went in 2007. Here's why:

1) I go to car shows to look at... you guessed it: cars. I love hot women, but if that's what I want to see, I can sit at a Gangnam outdoor cafe and enjoy the scenery there. The only car maker with a classy display was Bentley, where the cars were undraped by women.

I think it was Renault that even had a group of girls dancing in spandex shorts and sports bras. Hot, but again, if I want that I'd go to a strip club or something.

2) Not enough cars. The Toronto Auto Show not only has more makers (Lamborghini, for example), but more cars on display as well.

Bah!
