hi people,
im on a uk passport and am about to apply for my first E2 visa,the passport i have expires in feb 2010. will i need to apply for a new passport first? id rather get to korea and start earning and then apply for one if possible? thanks |

I have heard through this board that Immigration will not issue of visa for a term beyond the expiration date of your passport. This would mean that you would be unable to get a one year visa or a one year contract. This seems quite likely to be true as it sounds reasonable.
I have also heard that you cannnot get an E2 visa if you have less than 6 months remaining on your passport.
Sorry, but I can't substantiate the validity of either of those claims. |
