Hi,

Are there any weekend Korean courses available?

Currently, I am working 3 jobs and started my MA this spring. My wife doesn't complain about the money, but every disagreement/argument we have -- whether I'm upset at her, or her at me -- ends up being "my fault" because I'm not studying Korean. She is complaining that I am only keeping this busy to avoid having to study it, and points out that I didn't study Korean before I married, got an F-2, and began working my ass off for our future. So apparently, I am avoiding studying it by filling my schedule with work.

Frankly, I'm getting sick of hearing her complain about it. Do you know of any Korean weekend courses I can take to remedy this issue?

I am not sure about other cities, but at least here in Daegu, the Daegu YMCA offeres 2-hour Korean classes on Saturday mornings. You may want to check with the YMCA in your city (if there is one) to see if they offer a similar program.
