I'm in a time crunch and I can't think straight or get reliable information:
My friend is thinking about bouncing from a crapwon around his 9 month mark. Problem is he needs to stay in the immediate area (obviously not in his given apartment though) for 20ish days. My friend told me he is on an E-2 visa. What if any possible consequences are there supposing he runs into any of the nightmare agents of said crapwon after his unannounced "departure"?
What contingencies if any should my friend be prepared for considering that it will be about 20 days after he is a no-show for work before he is on a plane out?
Many thanks and sorry if it's redundant. I promised I tried searching, but, like i said, im trying to help my friend in a hurry. |

| If his boss goes to immigration to cancel his contract he will most likely have 14 days to leave the country. However, if he gets his visa cancelled and / or hands in his ARC to immigration, he can take the ferry to Japan, come back the same day, and get a tourist visa that will be valid from 30 days to six months depending on his nationality. |

If he hands in his ARC to immigration and/or gets his visa cancelled, can he get an E2 afterwards? |
