I am at present watching the now dwindling line of visa recipiant jostling for their visa's. I am in fact inside the consulate, on that old P.C. which seems to be driven by elastic bands. I will be staying an extra night in this wallet black hole, due mainly to piss-poor information concerning length of time to get a visa! I would like to categorically state that if you take the 10AM flight from Incheon, you have enough time to get your visa processed. Don't be a muppet like me, however I shall now investigate the neibourhood, there's a Happy Hour next door at 5pm, if anyone has some good spots or places to see in Osaka, please respond, otherwise it could be another CNN night. |

Near Tower Records (behind and to the right of the consulate) you can find some good shops that sell mushrooms that will make your stay in Japan all that much better. They are legal there, so no worries. Ask around and you'll find a place.
(bring me back some if you can!) |

Be aware that you can backtrack to Osaka airport and go on a standby list for the next available flight, if you are booked for the following morning. They usually hold a minimum of 5 seats on Asiana just for such purposes. So try that out should you be doing an overnight or next day return visa run....saves heaps of money and you don't have to pay departure tax because you are leaving on the same day. You can be back in Korea before midnight and live it up locally before having to go to work the next day
If there are no flights, the local airport hotels are clean and reasonably priced.
Still crazy, still here. |

It's Shinsaibashi just across the street. If you can't find something to do there, you're an old fart... |

That's common knowledge- who told you differently?
Check out the pedestrian shopping mall that runs parallel to the river, a good place to people watch- who knows, maybe you'll spot someone who looks like Imbroglio's avatar... |

Yeah, well if you're going to get all fancy and high falutin' by using the actual name, then screw you!

Just got back! Yea I met up with some old hands at the Pig and whistle, carried on through several bars, got extremely drunk, asked about massage(too expensive, plus guilt) and had 3 hours sleep back at hotel. My Korean girlfriend told me that Japanese women were ugly! She was right, they all look like goofy. I'm actually glad to be back!!!! |

Wow this was the last post onm the last page of this message board. So, I guess it has been dead the longest. Cool.
PS: I also got my Visa same say in Fukuoka. You just have to get their early morning, then is ready in late afternoon. If you go there, kill time at the beach and or the museum. Also, check out the store Bon Repas. Man I bought and ate 100$ of cheese in one afternoon. Roquefort, brie, le baron roche etc. Wached it down with home made LIMEaid. Heaven. |

Osaka rocks..If you want to chat up some of the gals, do as I did and stand on the bridge posing as a tourist taking photos, they love it and will pose for you...
The girls are great, but yeah i guess on average, the K-babe is better looking. This is probably the best reason for returning to the backward hole that is korea. |
