You paid 230 dollars? That's about how much they cost new in the US. That would be about 360,000 won.

The 1st Generation Ipod can be jailbroken, meaning you can add third party applications and avoid paying hundred of dollars to Apple for their proprietary programs. The 2nd gen cannot and actually costs less new because fewer people want them

The 1st generation is harder to find in Korea. The last time I went to Yongsan, I couldn't find one. (That was Christmas, so I doubt that is still the case.) Mine is already jailbroken and has some game emulators and other stuff added.

I stand corrected. The new software was released very recently. As I don't use mine antmore, i haven't kept up.

I never actually jailbroke mine. It was already done. I doubt I could do myself. i'm not that tech savy.

What's a good asking price? Seems like I should get over 100 us dollars considering that it costs around 240 new.

IMO, used 1st gen is a little high.

yeah, 150 for a used one, as long as it's in good shape, is probably fair. To be fair on the jailbroken end of things... the programs available 3rd party are not of the best quality, besides the emulators. Programs that I have on my 2nd Generation to help me study Korean etc wouldn't be available for free most likely, so take that for what it's worth.

1st Gen iPod touch is worth more than 150,000w. I'd say they are worth around 180,000w. 200,000w if you got a lot of great apps on there.
