The site look different. I just logged on a moment ago, but didn't shop. I last shopped 5 days ago on Monday and it's different tonight than Monday. Looks better. Will report back to how it functions in the buying process next time I buy.
See. What did I tell you 1 week ago about eBay acquiring Gmarket?
And I expect this is only the beginning of good changes to come. Expect more usability, more English, better software, and more selection of international products. Change is happening in Korea. I've been here only for a short while and notice it's a truly dynamic place. Dynamic as in changing or developing.
They're may not be aesthetic meaning in the motto, "Korea Sparkling," but there's meaning in the term, "Dynamic Korea." Well it's sparkling economically speaking so maybe that's what there're talking about as they're so tech and business oriented more than culture, arts, and fine entertainment. |

looks the same to me.
They have to get rid of the flash. I want to what it is I am buying not a hundred images flashing in front of me.
They have to get rid of the java script errors when opening in a new tab. They have to make their search function better
here is a good example, I want a site like this
http://www.trademe.co.nz/ |

The account management pages are what is different.
I agree the flash is too much and the ads are too long, filling up RAM, and slowing the computer down. And the search function is terrible due to random caterorization on the sellers part. I'm seeing sellers have 10,000 on up to 50,000 items with out categorization or badly miscategorized when they do have categories. They just don't know what they're doing and I hope eBay helps to educate sellers on how to better organize their ads. I also hope they make the ads shorter with less flash scripts running. I say give up flash as it's slow and memory consuming, but they're only using it to protect their pictures and text from being plagiarized by other sellers. The site java scripts makes my browser crash if I open up more tabs. |
