Okay, I'll concede that I could be the crazy one, but I am sure that other people have crazy "handlers" who have favorites who are clearly not you.
Short of pulling the midnight run (like the last pair of teachers at my school clearly did) how do you manage your miserable slavedriving boss who insists that your coworkers do all of the same things that you do and then some and just doesn't understand why you can't do the d*mned impossible...especially if perhaps you are a newer teacher, who is only human, has no mentor, and just needs more time to plan lessons and create materials. I end up fighting with the raving beeootch on a regular basis and this can't keep happening. |

Is this a hagwon?
I assume so.
The key to making it through the first year is to be agreeable.
When a korean teacher says she needs XYZ. You say, "sure, I can do that, but ti'll take some time". And then take your time. Do not bend under the pressure.
Always be agreeable. Do not fight over BS with a K teacher. They are flexing their fake teacher muscles.
The only really good reasons to fight in a hagwon are over 1) pay and 2) insurance/pension.
Unreasonable requests are easily handled if you are calm and collected. Try not to fight to much.
good luck. |

| Considering that my school is breaking the law in regard to insurance and pension, they ought to be kissing my behind instead of holding my diploma hostage (idiots think that it can't be replaced) and treating me like a dog. I've about had it, but I've only got four months left to go. |

If you're halfway decent, I know a guy who's looking. PM me your email and I'll respond with his phone number. |

| I understand that I will need a letter of release from this job before I can get another one, but I'm hesitant to leave one job without knowing that I have another one. It seems like a catch 22 situation, and I wonder if my employer will be willing to write the letter of release, even if I do have another job. Any advice on this? |

If the next school has enough pull at Immigration, you can do it. Check with your next school. |
