Am I the only one getting this while other sites are loading just fine, even YouTube videos? I enjoy this site sponsoring the community of expat native teachers in Korea, but am experiencing many technical difficulties from time to time. I also use Thaivisa with no issues.

Is there something I need to do to optimize this site to work right in my browser? How can I upgrade to better emoticons like seen on ThaiVisa.com?

Thanks for any computer technical help you gurus can offer that mastered getting this site to work wonders.

Nope, Dave's just sucks. Over the last two years it has gotten progressively slower.

It pretty much freezes and locks my browser everytime that I use it, hence I rarely ever come on here anymore.

It's actually a little insulting how slow they've let it become considering the income of this site and how the forum is an integral part of that income (although not the immediate source of that income). There is just no excuse for bad hosting anymore, especially for a site with this many hits.

I've stopped using it as much, nowadays it's even slow during off-peak periods. Peak times are simply unusable.

yes... and also it seems they are using a way outdated version of phpBB. (I may be wrong but I dont think I am wrong)
