I've read through old threads but still have a question. I read that wiring more than 10K home can be a hassle through some banks. don't know if the bank would have a problem with that or not? Thank you!

I've never heard that it was difficult to wire more than 10k home at a time. But, if it really is a problem, I recommend sending some now (or when you are okay with the exchange rate) and then the rest a little while later. Carrying that much cash is risky.  |
