I'm thinking the first taste of Commerical trance, EDM, techno etc was from these early bands..

anyone got any others ??

I guess this is for the over 30's crowd...

I think Mortal Kombat ripped of 2 Unlimited.

KLF was cool, but I prefer KMFDM and the hypnotizing videos:

Staying in the '80s, probably the one track that brings it all back for me.

Lisa Stansfield and Soul II Soul, eat your heart out.

Wow... I had no idea Leonard Nimoy used to be so HOT. Now I know why Zachary Quinto was such a natural choice for Spock. (both from the sexy as well as the homosexual vulcan thing)
Cold shower time.

(I apologize, no input regarding early 90's dance music)

OK... I'm a little younger so this was more my speed back then:

Did you know that the guy from 2 Unlimited is dead? The woman does the depressing university nostalgia tours still though, as One Unlimited.

I was too young to be at the silly raves so I only found this stuff when searching for vinyl.

A little older, quite a bit harder.

Actually you're right. However she does perform as One Unlimited just not due to him being dead.
