For the men in this forum; imagine for a moment, you have chest and abdominal pains. You visit the Doctor and what does he recommend? Any ideas? Well I would expect the following:
1. X-ray of chest
2. Checking of the prostate
3. Visit to the Hospital
So this is what is normally expected if you are a middle-aged man having chest or stomach pains. So what happens in Korea if you suffer from chest or stomach pains? The doctor would recommend that you stop lying down after a hearty meal.

Lying Down after Supper Is Bad for Sex
Many Korean men have the habit of lying back or lying down after a hearty supper. Maybe they should quit the habit. Its bad for sex.
Dont lie down after dinner.
That was the prescription, a patient P received from his doctor after seeking medical help for his erectile dysfunction.
P also had a chest pain, believed he had a heart problem. He also believed that he had blood circulation, which he suspected, resulted in his less satisfactory sexual performance.
P challenged the doctor. Are you saying that I should not go to bed with my wife? No sex? I thought you would give me a pill to treat my erectile dysfunction, JoongAng Ilbo reported Saturday.
The doctor replied. What I am saying is that dont go to sleep right after dinner. Regarding the pill, it only helps you temporarily. But it doesnt cure the fundamental issue, said Kang Dong-woo, a medical doctor who specializes in mens health and writes sexual health columns with his wife, Baek Hye-kyung, who is also a specialist in the same field.
P, who became exhausted when he got home from a days work, had a habit of going straight to bed, after having dinner.
That habit leads to weight gains, and abdominal obesity, which then leads to sexual dysfunction, Kang said.
Kang also discovered that the patients chest pain was caused by the reverse flow of food particles when he lied down, causing an inflammation in the esophagus tract.
Abdominal obesity is very bad for men. It reduces the creation of mens hormone, testosterone. What is worse is that the decrease of mens hormone makes the person even more tired after food ingestion, making him on a track of vicious cycle, resulting in further decrease in erection and sexual libido. |

Have you ever read You: The Owner's Manual, written by two western medical doctors? The Korean doctor is correct. I think that there may have been a mistranslation of "heartburn" into "chest pains." This isn't fan death type bullsh_. |

Why the F would the doctor check your prostate if you have heartburn and a stomach ache?
Were your doctors catholic priests?
x-ray? man. did the guy get hit by a car or have an injury that could have caused broken BONES?
You should refrain from posting medical stuff until . . . well, just don't do it. |

Anyone who is a middle-aged man would be expected to have a medical MOT if they were suffering from chest/abdominal pains. Sorry John, I didn't realise you were a doctor. |
