For all you bargain-lovers out there, what is the cheapest flight from a major city in the US to Seoul that you've been able to find? Specifically, tell me the airline, the price, the departure city, and whether it was one-way or round-trip.
I know there are some thrifty people out there. |

I just bought a ticket from Canada to Korea. 720$ US before taxes. 900$ US after taxes and insurrance. Through http://www.orbitz.com . I have a stop over In japan and then off to korea. Thats the cheapest i could find. Ill be flying Air Canada and Air Korea. and i think Asiana Airways on the way back. I know youre looking for a major city in the US but considering i bought the ticket for a US vendor im pretty sure could could get a similar maybe better deal. |

Oh, and I just checked Singaporeair's website. You can get a return flight from San Fran to Seoul for $680 (incl taxes) |

You can try lessno.com
Seems to give quite good prices. For example, a one way ticket from San Francisco to Seoul on the 29th April only costs US$559.10 for Singapore Airlines, including taxes |

How are these flights? Do they have power outlets and tv's? How long is flight time from somewhere in Cali? |

I believe, from California, it's between 13 and 14 hours depending on the number of stops and the amount of time during a layover. |

Try 'China Air' via Taiwan. I flew with them, from Korea to Vancouver. And Australia to Korea. Much better than I expected. And around $1000 AU, one way, cf $1640 o/w, with Korean Airlines. Note that 'Air China' is mainland China. Easy to confuse the 2.
