Could I be stopped at the airport by Korean immigration if I am leaving for my home country and breaking my hagwon contract?

Absolutely. You must wear a disguise.

Also, you should prop pillows under your blankets so it looks like you are sleeping. If they find out that you left while you are still in mid-air, they will have the plane turn around and be waiting for you when you get off.

I implore you to think long and hard about this...I've lost too many friends to count who tried to do what you are thinking about. They were good men...too good for this world.

I highly doubt it unless you have committed a crime. But then I am 100% against breaking a contract.

Been there. Done that. Have a good trip home. And I'm one who is 100% for breaking a contract when one must.

Why are you breaking your contract?

If you don't mind sharing...

I'd rather not say. I am considering leaving, but I haven't committed. I just want to know what to expect if I need to leave. Thanx for the advice guys. Less rural juror.

It's wise to withhold details that could identify you. They are monitoring all transmissions.

Maybe he should send a double in to teach for him while he escapes.
