My gym only has 2.5 kg weights as its lowest and I'm finding it hard to add 5 kgs to my lifts each time. I know I can just increase the reps at the same weight but I would rather follow my program as it is written.

So a korean website or a location(preferably in Daejeon or Daegu) where I can buy 1.25 kg Olympic weight plates would be a big help. When I get them I'll just donate them to my gym.

I'm sure anyone who would reply to this thread will know this but the weights I need have a bigger hole than the standard ones.

Hi OP.
I have a similar problem in my gym. I HATE increasing or decreasing my weights by 10 lbs, rather than 5 as I am accustomed back home.

there may be a possible way around the issue though - this is what I do.

does your gym have those big metal clamps that you put at the end of the Korean olympic bar so the weight doesn't fall off?

mine does.. and those weigh 1.1 kilos or so (each) , so I just use THOSE as my 2.5 lb "weight".

as an aside.. I would ALSO be interested in an online Korean gym link.. for gyms.. because there are some things I want to buy for my gym (they can re-imburse me if they want or give me credit on my membership , but if not, it'll be a gift.. but I need them for better workouts)

like heavier dumbbells.

so I am also looking for websites or locations that sell gym equipment (as in real gym, btw)
