Drunken Executives Sexually Harass 19-Year-Old Girl
By Kim Rahn
Staff Reporter
Executives of a conglomerate and a securities company have been booked for sexually harassing a 19-year-old woman while under the influence of alcohol.
Police said Friday that a president of a conglomerate, identified as a 46-year-old man named Park, and a vice head of a foreign securities firm, who is aged 39, looked under the skirt of the college student on a Seoul street at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday. The latter has been accused of taking a photo of her underwear with his cell phone.
As one of the girl's male friends protested, they scuffled and attacked another man who tried to stop the fight.
Police didn't charge Park for sexual harassment because the victim agreed on a settlement, but the brokerage house vice chief was booked without physical detention for the photo-taking.
The two were also booked for violence. The girl's friend was not charged as his acts were regarded as warranted.
``They denied the accusations, but we concluded that they harassed the girl sexually on the basis of testimony and circumstantial evidence,'' a Namdaemun police officer said.

So apparently some form of self defense is okay here. |

I thought the same thing. With our knowledge of how "self-defense" gets you in trouble in Korea, I'm glad to see that maybe the judiciary is starting to view it as a viable alternative to letting someone beat you for fear of having to pay blood money. |

Ha, ha, fun's fun,but the Korean authorities need to release any CCTV tape they have of what happened because some JERKS will have to explain to the Korean public why they picked on an innocent girl and her friends. Don't you agree, yesterday? Don't you agree that jerks should face the wrath caused by their actions? |

er no. Mob justice is rarely justice.
People should face appropriate consequences for their actions. The mob rarely stops at appropriate and goes for blood. |

Someone peeps up your daughter's skirt and you wouldn't want blood? Blood is good. |
